General Objectives of Baptist Christian School
(Expected School-Wide Learning Results)
As a school we have established, based on God’s Word, the following general objectives to be
demonstrated by each student, as appropriate at each grade level.
Worldview
Every student will develop an understanding of biblical truth in order to form a Christian worldview.
Behavior
Every student will develop an inner desire to practice a biblical lifestyle, as evidenced by word and action.
Proficiency
Every student will demonstrate a mastery of the basic skills of reading, writing, and mathematics.
Communication
Every student will demonstrate proficiency in the art of communication by writing, speaking, and listening effectively.
Critical Thinking
Every student will learn to analyze, interpret, and evaluate information, problems and experiences, expressed through a variety of media.
Technology
Every student will demonstrate competence in current technology.
Service
Every student will recognize and utilize his or her God-given abilities in service to the Lord and others.
